Meetings - in this category there is an information about meetings in frames of Fund “Sukhumi” projects - meetings with beneficiaries, representatives of state structures, local and international non-governmental organizations.
An informational meeting was held with members of the Gender Equality Council in Sakrebulo of Tsageri Municipality. The topics of the meeting were: role, practice and challenges in terms of combating domestic violence. However, the conversation touched gender equality policy in general.
Local government chairpersons welcome the prospect of closer cooperation with the Fund “Sukhumi”. They spoke about a work for the protection of the victims of domestic violence and prevention of violence. Statistics are not high in the region, but the problem is often closed and its management is even more difficult - this was especially evident under the conditions of COVID-19.
Two projects were implemented in Khoni Municipality since the beginning of June. Applications were prepared in the framework of the project “A common forum for CSOs from Guria, Imereti and Racha-Lechkhumi for PAR Roadmap monitoring”.

The Center for Education and Development “Edelweiss” has prepared a two-month project, “The Voice of Society in Self-Government”. The project will give the public information about what is happening in the local government. It is planned to use the hotline. In 12 administrative units, banners with contact information will be placed (municipality web page, facebook page, email, hotline number).
The IDP initiative group has launched a three-month project “Raising Citizens Accessibility for Greater Involvement”. According the project, the web page of the municipality will be updated, the work of the local government will become more transparent, the population will actively use the electronic platform, get acquainted with local programs, and use them to solve their problems.

Nino Janelidze is the chairperson of Terjola Sakrebulo. She was elected as the head of the working group. The first meeting of the working group was held in the conference hall of Terjola Municipality, which was attended by representatives of the City Hall and Sakrebulo, members of the civil society organizations, journalists and PR specialists.
The aim of the meeting was to develop an action plan, assess and analyze the problems identified in the public administration reform monitoring process.
The work is carried out in the framework of the project: “A common forum for CSOs from Guria, Imereti and Racha-Lechkhumi for PAR Roadmap monitoring”.
The Fund “Sukhumi”, studied the problems and needs caused by the COVID-19 in its working area, then planned an appropriate strategy for their timely resolution. The data was sent to our target municipalities.
In May, the Facebook page of the Fund “Sukhumi” posted responses from representatives of municipalities. Video appeals with the participation of representatives of local self-government of Kutaisi, Khoni, Senaki and Zugdidi were presented. They talk about the work done - against the background of problems and needs that arose as a result of COVID-19.
In June-August two projects will be implemented in Lanchkhut municipality. This work is part of the project “A common forum for CSOs from Guria, Imereti and Racha-Lechkhumi for PAR Roadmap monitoring”.
“Promoting the development of skills of public workers in midterm prospect” - is the name of the project of Lanchkhuti Information Center. Its aim is to increase the knowledge and skills of public workers in the issues of public administration reform, communication, presentation and facilitation, needs research, as well as development and institutionalization of training strategy of the municipality.
“The Electronic Communicator of Reporting and Transparency of Sakrebulo” is a project of Georgian Rural Hall. As a result of its implementation, the Sakrebulo of Lanchkhuti Municipality will have a simple, understandable web application of the electronic communicator in line with modern technologies, and this will increase the transparency and reporting of Sakrebulo.
A working group was created in Vani Municipality, which includes the representatives of the City Hall, Sakrebulo, and civil society organizations. During the first meeting, the header of the group was elected, the group's regulations, the working version of the advocacy plan and the recommendations were discussed.

"Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti Self-Government Resource Center" and "Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti Regional Hub -"Abkhazintercontinent" are partner organizations of the Fund of Women Entrepreneurs in Ambrolauri. A working group was created which consists of 12 members: representatives of the City Hall, Sakrebulo, local CSOs and media.
The first meeting of the working group was held on June 18 in Ambrolauri with the participation of the Fund of Women Entrepreneurs. The composition of the working group was approved. The members of the group were familiarized with the provision, working strategy and action plan-schedule. The working group will contribute to the successful implementation of public administration reform in Ambrolauri Municipality.

At the first meeting of the working group, a team leader was elected. The meeting participants discussed the statute of the structural unit. The draft of the advocacy work plan and recommendations have been also elaborated which will be advocated.
