The action is a way of advocating certain problems planned with specific goals and objectives. Fund "Sukhumi" conducts peacekeeping actions, actions for gender equality, humanitarian actions for socially unprotected people. Since 2001, annually holds information actions in frames of the campaign "16 active days against gender-based violence".

Action in Ozurgeti

Action of solidarity, which was held in Ozurgeti, November 25, was organized byu the fund “Sukhumi” and Gender Advisory Council.

The action was joined by the chairperson of the city and Guria region, deputies, staff of local government, youth.

Young people spread tens of informational leaflets with the call: “Do not let the violence around us”

Action in Kutaisi

November 25 – the first day of 16 day campaign against violence towards the women. This is an international day of fighting against gender violence.

Staff of the fund “Sukhumi”, representatives of partner NGOs, journalists, members of the Gender Advisory Councils, youth – all of them were joined by the action, held near the City Hall of Kutaisi.

Attention if the passengers was attracted by the calls: "Violence - evil!" "A woman has the right to happiness!" "Feel the responsibility - stop the violence!"

At the same time there was an action against early marriage. its members joined the fund's action, as early marriage is also the form of violence.

The event was publicized by different media sources.

On the initiative of Fund "Sukhumi" the actions were held simultaneously in Tskhaltubo, Khoni, Senaki, Poti, Zugdidi, Batumi and Ozurgeti.

Action in Kutaisi

Organizer of the action – women support center of Kutaisi annually celebrates international day of peace. This year the mobilizer of the center decided to celebrate this day together with the pupils of seventh grade of school No29.

The pupilsa decorated the ball, wrote peace messages, the main of them sounds like: “We want peace”.

Action in Khoni and Senaki together with "Caritas"

Fund "Sukhumi" with the charitable fond "Karitas" carries out joint actions for women beneficiaries of the support centers.

This time 5 families received clothing, food and hygiene packages. In Senaki gifts were handed over to representatives of the three families, and in Khoni – to two large families - with 5 and 9 children.

The beneficiaries expressed their gratitude to the organizers of the action.

Overcrowded action was held in Khoni

Together with the activists of WSC the action was participated by representatives of local self-government. Hundreds of informational sheets and calendars were spread during the action.

Together – against violence! – such was the mood in the center of Khoni on November 25.

Action in Khoni

The silent actions of the fund “Sukhumi” against gender violence in 8 cities of Western Georgia was joined by the members of the club of women voters of Khobi.the action was held in front of the building of the house of youth.

“Woman has a right for happiness!”, “Violence is a devil!”, “Stop violence against women!” – these were the main slogans of the action.

Action in Batumi

On November 25 in Batumi, European Square, there was held a silence action “No to Violence”!

Organizers of the action: Batumi Gender Advisory council and the Club of Voter Women.

The action was held in frames of international campaign "16 active days against violence towards the women."

The same day Fund "Sukhumi" organized an action in 7 cities of Western Georgia with the aim to improve the state gender policy and society had a great sense of responsibility for the prevention of violence.

Action against violence in Ozurgeti

The action against gender violence was joined by Ozurgeti Gender Advisory Council and the Club of Women Voters. They organized peaceful action in front of the City Hall, which was joined by the representatives of local self-government, young people. The Mayor of the city expressed readiness of the government in prevention of the problem.

The action was aired by the local TV.

16 day campaign in Tskaltubo started with the action

16 day campaign in Tskaltubo opened with the action. Feel Responsibility – Stop Violence! Women has the right to live without violence! Similar slogans were fixed by the people, who gathered in front of the sports palace. They expressed protest against violence towards the women. The action was participated by representatives of local self-government, activists of the Women Support Center and the Club of Women voters.
