Round table - meetings, discussions or advocacy of certain problems. Round table - this type of activity also plays an informational and propagandistic role and serves as a tool for developing concrete solutions.
The Fund "Sukhumi" held a roundtable on "Prevention of violence against women - the work of referral mechanisms: challenges, problems, ways to overcome." Participated: representatives of local government, local NGOs working in this direction, representatives of social agencies, legal services centers, police departments, patrol police, mass media, heads of shelters for victims of violence.
The participants talked about the problem and the real ways to solve it.

In the meeting hall of Zugdidi Municipality there was held a round table – the last activity of the project "Cooperation with local government – prevention of domestic violence and protection of victims" (funded by Zugdidi Municipality Gamgeoba and co-financed by the fund "Sukhumi").
The meeting was attended by officials of the governmental structures and representatives of local government in the municipalities. There was held a presentation of the project results (6 trainings and research). It was ,mentioned that violence in family is a serious problem and the local government is ready to be involved in the process of prevention.
The Georgian-Abkhazian conflict, rethinking the approaches to the conflict settlement and new vectors for its transformation - this urgent issue was considered in the meeting room of Tskaltubo Sakrebulo, where an interesting audience gathered: representatives of the local government, school principals, young people, activists of the Tskaltubo Women Support Center of the fund “Sukhumi”.
At the round table there was presented a study in which important stages of the post-conflict period and the negotiation process, problems and potential of the population of the Gali district are presented. During the group work, the meeting participants recorded interesting proposals that could contribute to a positive transformation of the Georgian-Abkhazian conflict.

Round table on: “Women Solidarity – for better future” was devoted to the week of women solidarity.
Information regarding the week of solidarity, analysis of the WSC work, familiarizing with the plans – all this was interesting for the participants. They took a photo together and mentioned that women solidarity is too important, as it can change the future.
Round table devoted to the week of women solidarity was held in the village Koki, Zugdidi Municipality. The meeting was attended by the representatives of local self-government, teachers, school directors, women-activists of the women Support Centers of Khurcha/Koki.
Participants often round table learned much: information about a week of women solidarity, successful examples of solidarity, results of the work an dfuture plans of the WSC.
The round table devoted to the week of women solidarity was held in Senaki Sakrebulo. Among the participants there were members of Sakrebulo and staff of the apparatus.
Participants of the meeting received information about a week of women solidarity and the work of the WSCs. There was held discussion about the role of women in the process of decision making, also regarding violence prevention regarding women.
A round table was held at the Poti Women Support Center on the International Day of IDPs and Refugees. The purpose of the meeting is to raise awareness of local services and programs. The head of the Mayor's Office for Social and Health Issues Maya Makalatia was invited to talk about municipal programs.
A round table was held at the Kutaisi Women Support Center in devoted to the International Day of IDPs and Refugees. Representatives of the Government of the Autonomous Republic of Abkhazia, local self-government and the IDP service were invited. They recalled Abkhazia, the problems associated with forced displacement with pain. They talked about programs identified by the budget of the municipality and issues of resettlement of IDPs. The meeting was very active, and the participants received a lot of important information.
