- What is the scale of violence in the villages, how openly the society speaks on these issues, what is the role of the rural government in victims’ assistance - these issues were raised during the training in Ozurgeti. Representatives of the mayor in the villages took an active part in the work carried out in frames of Women Support Center small project.
During the discussion of the preventive mechanisms of the problem, it turned out that their inclusion is minimal. It was noted that representatives of rural government are familiar with conflict families, therefore it is necessary to increase their role in order to resolve conflicts in communities.
Managing family conflicts, reducing risks and overcoming crises — meetings with crisis families were held on these issues. These meetings aim at overcoming crisis situations in families and preventing conflicts. In June, individual meetings were held with two families, and a telephone consultation was held with one family. The work was carried out by a psychologist and conflictologist of the Fund "Sukhumi".
An interesting activity took place in frames of the small project of Senaki Women Support Center - it was a chess tournament organized by members of Initiative Groups of the viullage Teklati and Nosiri.
