10 married couples met the psychologist in the Women Support Centers of Kutaisi, Khurcha / Koki, Khoni, Senaki, Poti, Tskaltubo.
9 individual consultations were held in these centers.
3 psychological portraits were made.
33 people participated in the meetings - 22 women and 11 men.
This is the picture of the work of Fund "Sukhumi" psychologist in September. The problems were different: depression and fear, difficulties in communication with adolescents... Psychotherapeutic sessions or meetings were necessary and useful. One part of the participants continues to work with a psychologist. Problems of some people people are solved, and they recommend others to meet with a psychologist and use this opportunity.
In September, all planned activities were completed in frames of the small project of Poti Women Support Center: "Harmonious Environment for Children ". Information meetings were held with the head, teachers and parents of pupils of kindergarten №3, as well as in the association of preschool education, with the head of the social service and health services. The main goal of the meetings is to get acquainted with the plans for the next month - more specifically, meetings with teachers, parents, and a psychologist on the topics of bullying and violence against children. The project contributes to informing different groups and creating a harmonious environment for pupils.
The mobilizers of the Women Support Centers held 27 informational meetings. The main topic of the meetings is the International Day of Peace and issues related to peace.
The meetings took place in the cities and villages of nine municipalities (Kutaisi, Tskaltubo, Khoni, Terjola, Senaki, Poti, Zugdidi, Ozurgeti, Lanchkhuti). The participants talked about the importance of peace, about the contribution of each person in peacekeeping. Meetings in IDP collective centers and in villages located near the conflict zone were especially emotional. Participants of the meetings noted:

"Peacekeeping education should begin from childhood ..."
"People should think and take care about peaceful resolution of conflicts."
The mobilizers of the Women Support Centers of Kutaisi, Tskaltubo, Senaki, Poti, Lanchkhuti, Ozurgeti, Khurcha / Koki (Zugdidi Municipality) identified 11 cases of violence at September information meetings and filled in the questionnaires.
The questionnaires reflect the cases of violence from side of family members against children and women. 4 victims have already addressed a psychologist, and three of them have received a legal advice.
During the meetings with the lawyers of the Fund "Sukhumi" the participants talked about those items of the law, created for the elimination of domestic violence, that reflect their problems. Two individual consultations were held in Kutaisi. Lawyers’ assistance was also needed in Khoni, Senaki, Poti and Ozurgeti. Among them there were married couples who jointly try to find the way out of their problems.
On September 18, the lawyer held a group informational and consultative meeting in Tskaltubo Women Support Center. 13 people received the necessary legal information.
"Don’t be patient, destroy the silence" - this is the name of the small project of Khurcha / Koki Women Support Center. Its aim is to contribute to reducing the facts of domestic violence and violence against women through informing and raising the legal level in the villages of Zugdidi municipality. In frames of the project, information meetings were held with representatives of local self-government and a representative of the Mayor in the village Kakhati, the meetings were also held with the women of the villages Koki and Kakhati on the topic of domestic violence and its reasons.
A small project of Khoni Women Support Center "Youth against violence" entered the active phase. In September, information meetings were held with the head of the legal department of Sakrebulo and the senior specialist of the organizational department (a brief presentation of the project and their support in specific organizational matters).
In frames of one of the projects of the Fund "Sukhumi", the following films on actual issues were shown in the open – air: "Narrow Corridor", "One ordinary Day", "Suitcase", "Armchair", "Steps". Then a discussion took place. Young people and their parents noted that films reflect the reality and it's very important to show them to different groups so that people think about the problems and start looking for a way out.
A workshop was held in IDP community for the group, which will independently conduct discussions in October after the films are shown.
The project is aimed at deepening communication skills to help resolve conflicts.
In frames of the small project of Tskaltubo Women Support Center, meetings were held with representatives of local self-government - with the deputy of Mayor, with rural deputies of Sakrebulo, as well as in the department of social security and health. Representatives of local government got acquainted with the activities of the project. A training was planned in which the representatives of the mayor in the villages, rural doctors, school teachers, teachers and educators of kindergartens will participate. The training will cover following topics: the law against domestic violence, mechanisms of protection, a referral system, etc. The received information and experience will help the participants of the training to actively join the process of violence prevention.
- Management of crisis situations, improvement of relations in couples using individual outline - the psychologist and conflictologist of the Fund "Sukhumi" consulted three couples using this method.
Based on the specifics of the work, communication with couples will continue online from meeting to meeting.
Personal conflicts and mechanisms for their management - this topic was discussed at workshops in Senaki, Kutaisi, Ozurgeti and Lanchkhuti.
The discussions showed that young people can manage emotions, and this is due to internal conflicts. According to them, if you are internally aggressive, it is difficult to communicate with people, and you contribute to the development of conflicts.
According to the participants, in order to reduce the aggression among young people, it is necessary to manage personal conflicts, and this is possible only through informing.
