In WSCs of Kutaisi, Senaki and Khurcha (Zugdidi Municipality) there were held psychological group consultations attended by 23 women at age of 22-65. Individual consultations were given to 2 women. The main topic of these meetings was – why the women need the sense of self-estimation.
The answer is following: for building healthy relations, for realization of their potential, for giving and receiving love and not to become the victim of violence.
In the Women Support Centers of Senaki, Kutaisi and Khurcha (Zugdidi Municipality) there were carried out psychological group meeting, attended by 34 women aged 19 to 65 years old, among them 11 women were IDPs.
Women discussed an interesting topic - the relationship levels and periods and conditions for a happy relationship, for the prevention of domestic violence.
Building relationships – is a complex process. None of us is perfect and we all have weaknesses. But using them for hurting – is the last thing. Learn to give and not only to demand and take, if you want to live together. Play fair, take care of relationships - they bring you joy - advises the psychologist.
At the initiative of the Women Support Center of Khoni this time, a psychological consultation was held with a socially unprotected family in the village of Gocha-Jikhaishi.
There are 8 people in the family, nobody works. Some members of the family are socially not adapted, some have health problems, children have difficulties in the learning process. This family was repeatedly assisted by representatives of local government and fund “Sukhumi”, but one-time assistance does not fully contribute to solving their problems. More support is needed. Those interested can apply to the Fund "Sukhumi" or the Sakrebulo of Khoni municipality.
A psychological consultative meeting with women was held at the Poti Women Support Center, with 14 beneficiaries aged 17 to 68. The topic for the conversation is conflicts, their types, reasons, how they are solved, and how to avoid them, for regulation family relations and prevention of domestic violence. The psychologist worked with participants of the meeting using associative cards, which helped women to see and realize some of their problems.
Psychological group consultations were held in Women's Support Centres of Senaki Kutaisi and Khurcha (Zugdidi Municipality) – they were was attended by 38 women aged from 24 to 68, among them there were 13 IDPs. Individual consultations were given to two women.
The main topic of these meetings was the information about the 16-day campaign against gender violence. The meeting participants discussed how to build harmonious family relations and develop them from a gender perspective. For all of them it was interesting to make conclusion with a psychologist: "Start with respect to each other, to the wishes and needs of other family members. If parents respect their children, then the children understand how important this is. Listen to each other! "

The psychological consultations in WSCs were attended by young and elderly, IDP and local women.
According to plan, the issue of the meetings was “responsibility – mechanisms of control for prevention of domestic violence”, the aim of consultation was informing women and elaboration of skills of responsibility.
The consultations were held on the background of active involvement of beneficiaries. They expressed their positive attitude regarding free psychological service of the organizations and mentioned that similar meetings are the only possibility for their informing and rehabilitation.
In the WSCs of Kutaisi, Senaki, Khurcha (Zugdidi Municipality) there were held group psychological meetings with women. Main topic of the meetings was crisis periods in family development according Virginia Satir, as prevention of domestic violence. Marital conflict resolution depends primarily on the spouses ability to understand, forgive and give in, i.e to compromise -.. These and other issues were discussed at the meetings, which, according to participants, are important and useful.
In the WSC of Senaki there was held psychological group meeting on the topic of communication without violence. Besides this there were held 3 individual consultations on different issues: depression after divorce, how to overcome the stress after auto catastrophe. Mostly interesting was the answer to the problem: I am difficult to say “no” to people. According the advice of the psychologist, there can be used the following method: you can say: “I want to think about it. Let’s return to this conversation a little later”. This will give possibility to think on the answer and be prepared to “no”.
