Tskaltubo WSC chose the Rugby team of the Tskaltubo club “Dinozaur” as a face of the campaign.
The project center “No to violence against women!” was leaded by the preparatory work – informational meetings with the rugby team “Dinozaur” and with representatives of local self-government. There were published informational leaflets and poster-calendars with the photo of rugby players. There were planned activities on a rugby stadium, but due to the bad weather the rugby match was not held. So the project was corrected – activities of the center conducted two activities. This is informational meeting with the parents of the kindergarten children. On December 3 in the international day of the people with disabilities in the inclusive center of Tskaltubo. There was held competition of the paintings on: “Family without violence”!
All participants of the meetings heard information about a campaign about how the violence effects children’s psychics. According to the attendants, these meetings were actual and useful.
Group of civil initiatives of Khoni was actively involved in the campaign of 16 active days, organized by the fund “Sukhumi”. Leaders of the group conducted informational-educational meeting in Khoni library with pupils of upper grades of Khoni public school on December 6. They spoke about the reasons of violence, its social results, ways of prevention.
How to overcome the violence, where is the role of society – interesting discussion was held regarding these issues.
Khoni WSC, School No7 of Poti and school of village Koki (Zugdidi Municipality) – three more informational meetings were held in youth clubs.
The topic is actual and important: gender violence, reasons and mechanisms of prevention.
Meeting participants discussed the reasons of violence, spoke about mentality. One participant, whose mother is abroad, noted: "I can not understand father who does not work and always asks money from mother. We have repeatedly suggested him to go to work, and my mother would came home, but in vain ... I will do everything for not to live like this. My family - a lesson for me. "
From June 8 to 11, Istanbul hosted a working meeting of partner organizations in frames of the project "Expanding Women's Opportunities for Developing New Approaches Relating to the Transformation of the Conflict". There was an exchange of information, questions about the progress of the current project were discussed. The strategy of the new project was also developed.

Center of pre-school education conducted a meeting initiated by Ozurgeti GAC and Club of Voter Women on: “Protect Security of Children”.
The meeting was also participated by the representatives of local self-government, medical sphere, journalists.
They spoke about different aspects of violence regarding children, about identification of children according different needs. Meeting is the step forward on the way of establishing inclusive education.
There were raised important issues and were drafter the ways of their solution.
Under the support of relevant services of the City Hall on the initiative of Gender Advisory Counciltehre will be implemented different projects and activities for combating violence against children.
On February 6 in Tskhaltubo gathered Women's Initiative Group. Members of the group got acquainted with the work schedule of the year. They talked about the problems existing in Tskhaltubo. The list includes social issues, the regulation of which is possible from the local budget. It was noted that human security is quite problematic and in this regard, it is important to continue the work.
According to members of the Initiative Group, it is necessary to inform society about the local budget programs. The initiative group in parallel with community informing, will monthly work on advocacy of the issues.
Women initiative groups actively work in Kutaisi and Tskaltubo, conduct informational meetings with representatives of different society specters.
Based on the advocacy plan, it is already completed the phase of collecting signatures and sending the letters to the addressees.
Each group analyzed the advocacy plan and made changes, taking into account the reality. In order to speed up the process of advocacy, additional activities are planned: meetings with representatives of local government, with lobbyists.
