A training - seminar on: "Instruments of strategic peacemaking for the promotion of women's participation in peacekeeping activities" was held in Erevan. Representatives of partner organizations (including from conflict regions), who work with the support of the Swedish women's fund Kvinna till Kvinna, also attended. Issues of gender-sensitive conflict analysis were discussed. The organizations made presentations of their projects. The Fund "Sukhumi" presented already completed project "Inclusive approaches in the field of human security". Participants familiarized with the inclusive approach, methods and results of work.
The meeting in Yerevan was a space for acquaintance, exchange of experience and future plans.
On April 12-15, in Borjomi, Fund "Sukhumi" organized a training for representatives of 9 municipalities of Western Georgia (Kutaisi, Tskaltubo, Khoni, Terjola, Senaki, Zugdidi, Poti, Ozurgeti, Lanchkhuti) on: "Comprehensive approaches to the formation of local budgets: gender, social, program and civil budgeting. " Participants discussed gender-related issues, drafted model of local gender programs based on the program budget principle. Especially interesting for them was the practice of budgeting with participation of public.
How should the problems be ranked and the cause-effect relationship established? how a good project idea can become a good project application; what mistakes are often made by organizations when presenting projects - these and many other useful and necessary questions were discussed at the training.
Training on the topic "Skills of attracting funds and development of project proposals" was held in Borjomi, April 19-22. It involved a part of employees who are working on projects. The training was conducted by Marina Gurbo, a specialist from Belgium.
In Terjola there was finished computer courses. The courses were held in two groups. 15 members per each group. Everyone was satisfied, as the courses were free and acceptable. The students received certificates. Pupils mentioned that they use gained knowledge for preparation of the presentation in school, but for the pupils of upper grades it will help in employment.

In frames of the project of Khurcha/Koki WSC “Family without violence” it is planned to organize informational-educational work in the villages of Zugdidi Municipality.
At the beginning there were held meetings with the women, residing in communities and they were selected for the training. Then was held a training with participation of 23 people from different villages. Toipic of the training – “Domestic violence and mechanisms of victim protection”. The participants were given informational booklets.
Training on "Resort service and etiquette of service" was held in Tskhaltubo. The training was attended by staff of different hotels of Tskhaltubo and persons interested in the work of the hotel.
The participants were informed about the skills that are necessary to the staff to accordingly serve customers.
The meeting was based on the strengthening of the theory by practice. According to the participants, it will be good if these such trainings will be conducted on a large scale.

The representatives of the Fund "Sukhumi" participated in the training, held in Tskaltubo on August 20-22, which was conducted by the Czech organization PIN for councils of Khoni and Gori, as well as representatives of partner organizations.
The purpose of the training - deepening of the strategic planning skills; the strategic direction and objectives of the local social policy, the experience in terms of social policy, and challenges for the creation of a document of the local social inclusion strategies.
