Highly qualified trainer, Associate Professor of Kutaisi University Elguja Deisadze introduced the participants to the specifics of writing business projects. At the next stage, a competition will be held, and the authors of the best projects will receive small grants. All this will help women to successfully create an independent career.

An informational meeting was held with both Women Initiative Groups of Khoni. The participants got acquainted with information about the human security component and quantitative research. Questionnaires were also distributed. Another meeting was held with the members of Khoni youth group. The participants heard information about the components of human security, the topic was very interesting for young people. During the meeting, it was revealed that environmental issues, the number of immigrants, health issues, low quality of education, fear of job loss, unemployment and increased aggression in society are the issues that concern the young people.

 A meeting related to the research - "study of the quality of human security, envisaging gender needs" was held with the Women Initiative Group of the village Didinedzi - Zugdidi municipality. It is important for the warming of relations. The women spoke about the activities they carried out, it was noted that the project is important for the improvement of Georgian-Abkhazian relations. The meeting was attended by Giorgi Khechinashvili, Senior Advisor of Youth Programs of the USAID. The meeting was also held with the youth initiative group of the village Didinedzi. The young people plan to form a forum-theatre, write scenarios and stage a performance. The senior advisor of the USAID youth programs also attended the meeting with the youth group. Giorgi Khechinashvili praised the young people for their activity.

Teachers, parents, members of the Gender Equality Council took part in the information meetings held in the schools of Tkibuli and Senaki municipalities.

The topic of conversation was the importance of society's participation in elimination of the problem of violence against women. The problem of violence against women and the importance of public participation in its elimination - meetings on this topic were held in Vani and Kobuleti. The meeting in the public school of the village Mtisdziri (Vani municipality) was attended by teachers and upper graders and in the kindergarten No 2 of Kobuleti, the coordinator of the children's rights department of the City Hall and the chairman of the Gender Equality Council, together with the staff.

On January 17, a meeting with Kutaisi Women Initiative Group was held. The topic of the meeting was: studying the quality of human security, envisaging gender needs. The participants got acquainted with the information about the quantitative research. Questionnaires were also distributed among the group members. The meeting was also held at School No. 6 named after Zhiuli Shartava. The members of Kutaisi Youth Club discussed the six-month action plan and outlined the ideas to be implemented. The meeting was traditionally held with fun activities and team exercises. Several new members joined Kutaisi youth club, who positively evaluated the club activities.

Quantitative research was started in the target municipalities within the framework of the project "Bridging the gaps: People-to-People Initiatives for Conflict Resolution", in frames of which the members of the women initiative group of the village Pakhulani the Tsalenjikha municipality were involved. The topic of the research is "Assessment of the quality of human security and gender needs of the population".

Since January, the members of the initiative group have been involved in the research process, which aims to assess the quality of human security from a gender perspective. At the first stage, 150 people will be interviewed through online questionnaires. During the meeting with the group members in Senaki, the participants heard information about the components of human security, learned about the main goals and objectives of the research, as well as the technical aspects of conducting the survey. The received information will help to conduct the survey process successfully. Along with the women's group, members of the youth group also participate in the survey process.

The youth initiative group of the village Koki - Zugdidi municipality created a forum-theater. The news was implemented within the framework of the USAID project "Bridging the gaps: People-to-People Initiatives for Conflict Resolution". According to the assessment of the group members, the forum-theater will implement its function and provide information to the public. The forum-theatre is a method of interactive work between different layers of society, which aims to solve social problems and provide information.
