The TV “Rioni” broadcasted a live program with the participation of host Nino Nebieridze and guests of the program, representatives of our organization: Emma Kamkia and Khatuna Gogua.

The report on the research of the Women Fund “Sukhumi” "Assessment of the gender impact of the component of family and community participation in the educational process of the State Standard of Early and Preschool Education" was discussed.

Within the framework of the general network of IDP women and girls of the Women Fund "Sukhumi" - "Network of Women and Girls Peace Ambassadors" the initiatives envisaged by the project were implemented in five municipalities: Senaki, Tskaltubo, Khoni, Zugdidi and Kutaisi.

The process was actively participated by leaders of women groups, activists and community residents. The initiatives were implemented with the involvement of human resources of the local community.

The story summarizes the results of the work in the framework of the project “Women, Peace, Security, Promoting the Implementation of the 1325 UN Resolution  Action Plan at the Local Level.”

The video record represents all five municipalities participating in the project - Kutaisi, Tskaltubo, Khoni, Senaki and Zugdidi. Women initiative groups operated in these municipalities. Women representing these groups talk about the benefits the project and networking have given them. They share with the audience their successes, what they have achieved, and how they have become leaders who can identify, advocate, and solve problems to improve conditions in their community.

How can a society torn apart by war and conflict overcome alienation, rebuild relationships and create a dignified and secure future? - Our representative, Ekaterine Gamakharia, spoke about these issues as a guest on Mamuka Kufaradze's TV program before presenting the Abkhaz film "Waiting for the Future".

The first network meeting, which was held in Kutaisi, was attended by representatives of 17 municipalities.

The meeting participants talk about the need to involve women in the peace process, the challenges in this direction and the possibilities for their solution. The story is about this topic.

The story tells about the civil forum, held in Kutaisi on: "Women, peace, security - promoting the implementation of the 1325 UN Resolution action plan at the local level."

Representatives of local governments of the target municipalities assess the dynamics of the project and discuss the prospects for localization of the 1325 UN Resolution  action plan in individual municipalities.

Women's networks organized in 5 municipalities of Western Georgia (Kutaisi, Tskaltubo, Khoni, Senaki, Zugdidi) chose topical issues and started the advocacy process on “one window principle”.

This is told by the women participating in the project and representatives of local government who participated in the meeting. They emphasize the importance of the dialogue format for problem solution.

Many issues were discussed at the trainings. Concrete things were remembered and concrete ones were learned...

In this small video record, the women spoke about the benefits, exchange of experience, joint work of the training. The cycle of trainings strengthened the participants: IDP Women Initiative Groups established in Kutaisi, Tskaltubo, Khoni, Senaki and Zugdidi municipalities.

Now all five municipalities have competent active women leaders who can identify problems in IDP communities, advocate and solve them, they can change the living conditions of IDP girls and women and their families for the better.
