The meeting held by Kutaisi Youth Club was dedicated to the International Day of Peace. The leader of the club made a presentation. The members received information about the history and significance of this day. The second part of the presentation was devoted to the peaceful resolution of conflicts and the discussion of ways to resolve them. Members of Kutaisi Women Initiative Group gathered to discuss the dynamics of the advocacy process. According to the advocacy plan, the members of the group are ready to work on the chosen problem. They also met the director of the target school, introduced the purpose of cooperation and set a future plan.

International Day of Peace is celebrated on September 21. The Women Initiative Group of the village Koki - Zugdidi municipality joined the campaign. "Let’s make a promise, that we will teach our children tolerance and respect of others. Let's fight for peace and protect it as far as we can" - these were the main messages voiced by the women. As for the youth initiative group of the village Koki, on the International Day of Peace, they once again mentioned that poverty, exhaustible natural resources, inequality, corruption, racism and xenophobia are the best ground for conflict between different groups. According to them, the International Day of Peace is dedicated to the fight against these reasons of conflicts!

Members of the first Women Initiative Group of Khoni gathered to discuss and share the dynamics of the advocacy process. The meeting was attended not only by women, but also by male members and the employees of the City Council. The second group of Khoni Women Initiative Group discussed the dynamics of the advocacy process and summarized the year. The work on the problem has already started. The meeting of Khoni Youth Club was dedicated to the discussion of the International Day of Peace, its importance and the role of young people.

An online petition was registered at a meeting of Khoni Women Initiative Group together with group members. The aim of the petition is to promote the introduction of a Homeowners' Association development program into the budget of the local municipality.

In frames of the program, the maintenance of the own and common property of the Homeowners’ Association will be ensured with the participation of the municipality. Through projects and activities implemented on the principle of co-financing, the municipality will help the population to improve the environment they live and at the same time, favorable conditions will be created for the development of civil society.

The ordinary meeting was attended by members of Kutaisi Women Initiative Group, as well as residents of the IDP settlement “cottages”.

According to the agenda, they discussed identified problems related to the arrangement of drainage canals, a sports ground, the problem of the roof in the settlement of Nikea Street, and the necessity to form a “homeowners’ association” in Choma settlement.

The group members decided to find a lobbyist to speed up the problem solution that concern people living in the IDP settlement of Kutaisi municipality.

In September, Members of Tskaltubo Women Initiative Group met again to identify and advocate their problems. During the meeting, successful cases were discussed and it was noted how important the theoretical knowledge acquired during the work is for practical activities.

During the meeting they talked about the main problems of the IDP settlement. New issues were identified: creation of a recreational area in the community, installation of speed bumps for traffic safety. An action plan for timely resolution of problems was outlined. A “one-stop shop” meeting was planned to be held in October for effective advocacy.

An informational meeting was held with members of Zugdidi Women Initiative Group. During the meeting the participants discussed the situation regarding the advocacy of individual problems. The group leader familiarized the participants with the letters that were sent to the City Hall and read announced the received responses.
