The Forum Theatre can hold performances anywhere - in a hall, on the street...
One February meeting was held in Vani, another - in Kutaisi Park.
Young actors presented actual problems. At public school of Vani Forum Theatre held performance for the first time, and made a huge impression on the audience - with the form of expression and the actors' performance. Some of those gathered joined the performance, and others expressed their opinions on the issues during the discussion.

The awarding of the competition participants began at the end of January and ended in February.
The competition was held at the end of last year and was coincided with the International Campaign of "16 Active Days against Gender- based Violence". The competition was attended by members of youth clubs who had completed a 6-month training course on the topic "Conflict Management and Violence Prevention".
About 30 essays, drawings and videos were submitted to the competition.
The Women Fund “Sukhumi” encouraged all participants. The trainers Lela Shengelia and Anzhela Chikhladze personally met with the participants in Senaki, Tskaltubo, Kobuleti, Zugdidi and Samtredia municipalities and presented them with gifts and certificates of appreciation. Participation in the competition gave young people even more motivation to actively participate in the work of youth clubs.

The audience always watches the Forum Theatre performances with interest.
Questions, memories of life, involvement of some viewers in the performance, discussions... This is what makes this theatre special.
The Forum Theatre of the Women Fund "Sukhumi" held two meetings with the audience in January: in a private school in Terjola and in one of the parks in Kutaisi.
Rehearsals and work on new performances are underway in parallel. Young actors are actively working to contribute to the process of violence prevention.

Tsalenjikha, Senaki, Terjola - trainings with youth were held in these three municipalities in January, and trainings in Zugdidi and Samtredia were held online.
The meetings in Senaki and Terjola were especially interesting. Members of these clubs took an active part in the competition, which was held in the framework of the campaign "16 active days against gender-based violence".
The results of the competition were summed up at the end of 2024. At the first meetings of the year, certificates of gratitude and gifts were presented to some of the participants: Salome Lashkarava, Lika Tsurtsumia, Vika Tsurtsumia (Senaki Youth Club), Salome Panchulidze and Mariam Gogsadze (Terjola Youth Club). The victory and awards of the girls are an excellent incentive for other members of the club, who will join the new events with great interest.

The Forum Theatre dedicated its December performances to the international campaign "16 active days against gender-based violence". The performances were held in Kutaisi Youth Center and in the open air.
Due to the general situation, trips to municipalities and schools are limited, so the last performances of the year were held only for Kutaisi audience.
The actors hope that the situation will change for the better from the New Year and the area of their performances will become more diverse.

At the end of November, during a week, 11 girls from across Western Georgia participated in a Youth Exchange in Poland organized by Kreisau-Initiative e.V. in cooperation with Women Fund "Sukhumi" and Fundacja Krzyżowadla Porozumienia Europejskiego/Stiftung Kreisau.
The Georgian girls are representatives from our youth clubs and demonstrated high motivation, engagement, and interest. The training provided within the program aimed to empower 47 young women from Germany, Georgia, Poland, Ukraine, and Wales and raise awareness about women's rights and self-esteem.
The November training course began with the usual activity. Trainings have already been held in five youth empowerment centers (Tskaltubo, Vani, Chokhatauri, Zugdidi, Samtredia). On November 25, the international campaign "16 active days against gender-based violence" will start, within the framework of which young people will participate with interesting initiatives. The training course continues in five more municipalities, as planned, without changes.

Since the beginning of October, trainings with new members of the Youth Empowerment Centers of 10 municipalities have been actively launched.
The essence of conflict, peace, violence, as well as familiarization with their types and specific examples - these topics were discussed with the participants.
The trainings were conducted both with the direct participation of participants (Zugdidi, Senaki, Tsalenjikha, Khobi, Chokhatauri, Kobuleti, Tskaltubo) and online (Samtredia, Vani, Terjola). The training cycle will continue from next month in all ten municipalities.

There have been changes in the acting group of the forum theater, two actors left and two volunteers came to take their place.
The performances of the forum theater were held in the small hall of Kutaisi Meskhishvili Theater, despite the small number of spectators, the discussion was active. The theater staff positively assessed the acting of the young people, the scenes reflecting reality.
The second performance took place in the city center - this is a good experience for the youth. They are actively working, rehearsing and preparing for new performances.
