In school №3 there was held information meeting of the Youth Club on the topic: "Gender-based violence, the reasons and mechanisms of protection" this main issues were discussed during the meetings in the schools of the village Koki (Zugdidi Municipality) and №21 of Poti.
Young people were actively involved in the working process, in the activities during the discussion. They openly talked about the stereotypical thinking of the older generation, which prevents the creation of a new, harmonious society.
The activists informed the attendants, which activities did they carry out within the framework of the campaign "16 active days against gender violence." They also talked about plans for the future.
In frames of the campaign of 16 active days there were held workshops, actions, informational meetings, initiated by the fund “Sukhumi” in schools No1 of Tskaltubo, No15 of Kutaisi, No3 of Poti, in private schools of Kutaisi “Progress” and “Ghone Kveknisa”.
The members of the club and volunteers actively joined the campaign against gender violence.
Meeting of Ozurgeti Club of Women Voters was devoted to discussion of the topic of violence against women. Club members learned about the history of the campaign of 16 days, heard information about urgency of the problem of violence and the mechanisms for its eradication. It was noted club activities in this regard. The participants mentioned that the local government is ready to cooperate in this direction.
During the meeting it was mentioned that the problem advocated by the Club is already solved - the city council has allocated financial aassistance for the woman who is in critical condition, and now she can cover the house with the roof.
On December 7 in the conference hall of Khoni Sakrebulo there was held a meeting of the club of women voters.
The club members shared information about inclusion in the campaign “16 active days against gender violence”. there was a conversation about an action of greening and its long-term effects.
Concrete part of meeting was devoted to the issues, regarding the advocacy – there were named problems, which should be solved by the club members in collaboration with local government.

Gender violence, reasons and mechanisms of protection – this issue was discussed during informational meetings of the youth club in schools No7 of Senaki and No2 of Tskaltubo, also in WSC of Kutaisi. Participants heard information about a campaign of “16 active days against gender violence”. this issue is not new for the youth, so they were involved in the discussion with interest.

“I like similar meetings and discussions, as I receive lots of necessary information”.
“I want my generation to have important share in creation of gender equal society. Such meetings promote to this process.”
During the meeting of Kutaisi Club of Women Voters, the members of the club talked about their inclusion in the international campaign of “16 active days against gender violence”. They noted that informing in comparison with the previous years has raised, the population knows more about preventive mechanisms.
The club members on their initiative conducted informational meetings. This issue was also touched during the club meeting.
The club traditionally elected several problems with the aim of advocacy and solution.

This time the meeting was held in the administration of the village Pirveli Maisi with invitation of the representative of Gamgebeli – Marina Lagvilava, who is the active participant of the meeting of the club of women voters.
The meeting was held in frames of 16 day campaign, so the club members discussed the issues of violence against women. The meeting was attended by the assistant of the detective – investigator of the regional department of the MIA, who answered the questions of participants, regarding legislative mechanisms of victim protection. During the discussion there was raised a question of necessity and meaning of the position of psychologist in schools. Women decided to advocate this issue. The psychologist should be appointed in the resource center of education, who will cooperate with all schools of Khobi and work with the children of risk-families.

In frames of the campaign of “16 active days against gender violence” on the initiative of Kutaisi youth club there were held informational meetings in private schools “Ghone Kveknisa” and “Progress”.
In these schools the young actors of the forum-theatre of the fund “Sukhumi” conducted also the performances on the issue of different types of violence.
The pupils and the teachers were actively involved in discussion. According to them, all of us should say “no” to violence.
Club of Women Voters in Tskaltubo was carried out in different format – there was held a conference “16 active days against gender violence”. the conference was attended by representatives of self-government and fun “Sukhumi”, local and IDP women, youth.
The participants learned the history of campaign. Reports of the lawyer and psychologist concerned deplorable results of violence in adolescents. There was held a presentation of young people on: “No to Violence!”. there were fixed their opinions for the prevention of violence.
The meeting was held on the background of active inclusion of participants.
Ordinary meeting of the club of women voters in Ozurgeti was devoted to planning of involvement of the club in Gender Advisory Council (GAC) in the campaign of 16 active days against gender violence. it was decided that the club members and the GAC jointly will conduct informational meetings with representatives of local self-government, work-shops in schools and kindergartens of the city and municipality, in the college “Horizont”.
During the meeting it was mentioned that in Sakrebulo of Ozurgeti there is held an active work for formation of Gender Equality Council.
