Young Leaders’ School is working with young people to strengthen them and to form leadership skills. The work is carried out in 9 municipalities of Western Georgia - Kutaisi, Tskaltubo, Khoni, Terjla, Senaki, Poti, Khurcha / Koki (Zugdidi municipality), Lanchkhuti, Ozurgeti. These are information meetings about gender and domestic violence, workshops on conflictology for young people, meetings with boys, formation of a group of young trainers, trainings and various meetings with participation of young people.
The stories of women - victims of violence and calls for violence against women - all this could be seen at the action of the Khurcha / Koki Women Support Center. Young people distributed information leaflets, the participants protested any manifestation of violence and supported the International Campaign "16 active days against gender-based violence".

In the framework of the International Campaign "16 active days against gender based violence", a traditional silent action was not held in Senaki. This year the Senaki Women Support Center organized an exhibition of stories of women victims of violence and slogans in a crowded place. Representatives of the local government joined the action. So the participants expressed support for the campaign.

On November 27, the stories of women victims of violence and appeals were displayed on the territory of the central park:
"Together - against violence against women!"
"Feel responsibility - stop violence!"
The organizer of the action is Poti Women Support Center. Activists of the center distributed information leaflets. The action was part of the International Campaign "16 active days against gender based violence".

Tskaltubo Women Support Center of Fund “Sukhumi” joined the International Campaign "16 active days against gender-based violence". The stories of women victims of violence and slogans attracted the attention of passers-by. Activists of the center distributed information leaflets printed specially for the campaign among the population.

Young people, who passed the training course on conflictology and coaching, began to conduct workshops in the cities and villages of Western Georgia, schools and universities. In November, 14 workshops were held. Young trainers chose all the topics they worked on during two trainings, used all methods. Therefore, workshops were a variety of active discussions, interesting presentations, role-playing games and group work. Most importantly, both the participants and the young coaches who had the motivation remained contented.

Youth clubs discussed the current topic at information meetings "Gender Violence, Causes and Mechanisms of Protection". The participants discussed this issue with interest. New Club members liked the immediate atmosphere and the possibility of free expression of words. At one meeting, the boys protested, but most of them understood the importance of the issue.
Participants received information about the international campaign "16 active days against gender-based violence against women". Fund "Sukhumi" has already started preparation and Youth clubs will be included in the campaign activity.
The meetings were mainly held in public schools - at school # 13 in Kutaisi, No. 21 in Poti, No. 1 in Tskaltubo and 31 in Senaki, as well as in school of village Ganmukhuri (Zugdidi municipality) and Khoni Children's Library.

Gender violence, reasons, mechanisms of protection for the prevention of violence - this topic was discussed at the information meetings of the Youth Clubs of the Fund "Sukhumi". At the meetings, it was noted that the International Campaign "16 active days against gender -based violence" is being conducted worldwide.
Gathered in the municipalities of Kutaisi, Khoni, Tskaltubo, Senaki, Poti and Zugdidi, young people planned activites within the campaign to support a general protest.

Within 4 days in Kutaisi there was held the second stage of the training on "The course of basics in conflictology." 18 participants - young people from 8 municipalities of Western Georgia (Kutaisi, Khoni, Tskaltubo, Senaki, Poti, Zugdidi, Ozurgeti, Batumi) mastered the technique of the training this time - each of them, together with theoretical knowledge, received practical skills and conducted a simulated workshop.

Perception of tolerance among young people - information meetings of the Youth Clubs of the Fund "Sukhumi" took place in school # 1 in the village Geguti (Tskaltubo municipality), in the Kutaisi youth center, in the school of the village Mendji (Senaki municipality), at school # 21 Poti, in Khoni library and in the school of the village Koki (Zugdidi municipality).
Participants assessed the problem of tolerance in society, talked about relations to traditions, to representatives of religious minorities, to foreign students, etc.
Their considerations are as follows:
"Among the youth there is aggression, and against it you need to use the method of more information."
"Discussion of similar topics in the free space is more effective than on civil lessons in the school."
"Talking about such topics is important for the formation of a person. The free environment, the identification of their own capabilities and work on themselves - all this is the merit of the Club."
