Women Initiative Group actively continue the survey process, which started last month. The members of the group carry out the process by the method of focus groups and in-depth interviews. The received information will be reflected in a general research, the aim of which is to reflect human security issues from a gender perspective. The members of the youth group focused on peace initiatives. Several activities have been planned that the group leaders will conduct in different classes. According to them, these activities will contribute to the popularization of peaceful communities.
The research "Assessment of the quality of human security" carried out by the members of the Fund “Sukhumi” Women Initiative Group continues. Four focus groups and four in-depth interviews will be conducted. The members of the group got acquainted with the main goals and objectives of the research, defined the target groups and distributed the responsibilities. The topic of the traditional February meeting of Kutaisi Youth Club was peace initiatives. The young people worked on the action plan and activities to be implemented in the future. New members, who joined the club, received detailed information about the activities of the youth club and the Fund “Sukhumi”. The meeting was hosted by Abkhazia Public School No. 6 named after Zhiuli Shartava.

A training on "Violence prevention and victim support resources" was held with the members of Senaki Women Initiative Group. The participants received information about the activities of shelters for violence victims, the crisis center and victim assistance services. According to them, breaking gender stereotypes will help to build an equal society, and the involvement of young people is necessary in the process.

Misinformation, dissemination of fake information and false narratives as an important challenge of the modern world - training on this topic was conducted for the youth initiative group of the village Didinedzi - Zugdidi municipality. Experienced trainer Rusudan Karkadze spoke about the essence and importance of media literacy. The participants discussed the issues of misinformation and mastered the practical skills of distinguishing fake information from reality.
Informational meetings with medical staff on the topic “Violence against women and domestic violence - the role of doctors in violence prevention and victim assistance” were held in Tskaltubo, Terjola, Tsalenjikha, Senaki, Khoni, Kutaisi and Samtredia municipalities. The meetings were attended by: family doctors, emergency doctors, medical staff working in clinics and rural outpatient clinics.
The conversation touched on the law on combating violence against women/domestic violence, as well as referrals and specifically the role of medical personnel in identifying victims of violence and assisting the victims.
The meeting also included a presentation of the publication of the Women Fund “Sukhumi”, “Practical Guide to Responding to Gender-Based Violence for Representatives of Medical Institutions.”

This is how some of our beneficiaries started their own businesses. Recently, with the support of various organizations, trainings were held for Ukrainian refugees. Participants learned to formulate business ideas and write projects. This time, two women will receive grants: Irina Khalupka and Natalya Krivitskaya. Irina will do eyelash extensions, and Natalya will do photography.

A meeting was held at the Women Fund “Sukhumi”. The meeting was attended by women and girls living in compact IDP settlements of Kutaisi. The problems of various IDP communities were identified and prioritized during the working group meeting
The participants discussed pressing issues in the format of a general discussion. As a result, two high-priority problems were selected, advocacy for which will be carried out using various mechanisms for involving citizens.

Training on the topic “Women’s leadership, forms of communication, mechanisms of civil inclusion” was conducted with participation of IDP women and girls, members of the target working group living in different communities of Kutaisi.
The training program consisted of a lecture part and practical exercises. Participants were given the opportunity to work in groups on the following issues: what hinders civic engagement at the local level, how to increase the motivation of citizens to increase their involvement in the formation of local politics.
Participants interactively shared their experiences, positions and views on the topics discussed. It was noted that the topics of the training were important and necessary for them: “I began to think about leadership qualities, reconsidered my abilities, and discovered new resources.”
