Childhood was not easy, dad often came drunk, there were permanent quarrels and scandals... Once day, when returning home drunk, he was hit by a car. She was in the 8 - th grade. At the age of 18, her mother married her by matchmaking in one of the villages of Samegrelo. He was 10 years older.
The first two months of marriage were happy. His parents left (they lived and worked in Russia), They stayed alone, and she thought that it would be even better, but ... jealousy, control, criticism began: “you do not do it well”, “don’t dress like this” , “Why are you going to the neighbors”, “you have a lot of things to do, stay home”, “who brought you by taxi”, “who are you waiting for”...
Accounting course was completed at the Fund "Sukhumi" Day Rehabilitation Center. The participants of the course passed the theoretical basics of accounting, regulation of accounting in Georgia, organizational legal forms of enterprises, legislation acting in Georgia, accounting methodology.
At the last meeting they were awarded with certificates. As they mentioned, this stage of teaching was important in their lives. The knowledge and experience gained will help each of them to implement future plans.

Forum-theater actively returned to the working process. Performances started in Kutaisi parks and squares. Tsalenjikha, Samtredia, Kobuleti, Zugdidi, Senaki - a cycle of trainings was continued in December in the youth centers of these five municipalities - this time on the topic of tolerance and early marriage. There was active discussion and most importantly, trust from the participants, which was noted by the teachers.
The trainings had leaders who started to initiate the events. Teachers, directors, parents were actively involved - 1255 pupils participated in the initiated events.

The participants also received information about the work, carried out with the support of the Canada Equality Fund: a unique website "Digital Resource Center for Violence Victims’ Services" was created, information meetings and social events were held. Local government officials thanked the Fund “Sukhumi” for its assistance to women victims of violence in Vani Municipality and expressed their willingness to cooperate in implementing more sustainable and long-term programs / services for victims.

Online conference of the Fund “Sukhumi”: "Local Cooperation for Advocacy of Community Needs in Zugdidi Municipality - with participation of members of the Women Peace Coalition, IDPs and conflict - affected women and girls" was held.
The conference was attended by representatives of the civil sector, municipalities, international organizations, the legislature and the central government.
The meeting evaluated the successful practices and challenges in terms of local cooperation in responding to the needs of citizens. Municipal officials announced their official position on advocacy issues initiated by Women Initiative Groups. They noted that the dialogue initiated with participation of citizens is a precondition for more accountability and responsibility of local authorities.
December turned out to be quite busy for women support centers. During ordinary meetings in various communities, the mobilizers informed the population about the campaign against violence towards the women, talked about the obstacles that prevent the identification of cases of domestic violence.
During the month, 10 women support centers identified 8 cases of violence. After analyzing each case, the beneficiaries used the services of the Fund "Sukhumi".
Cases directed by mobilizers to local self - governments are already in the process of responding, in order to strengthen the victim assistance mechanism and allow beneficiaries to use municipal services. Cooperation is based on the multigroup principles of working with victims and gives a good effect.

There are two Women Initiative Groups in Khoni municipality. Online meetings were held with them, where technical side of the survey, deadlines and identification of beneficiaries was held. Group members have similar experiences that will contribute to a successful survey.
An information meeting with the members of the youth group was also held online. They talked about the 16-day international campaign, the activities carried out within the campaign and the practices adopted.
In the beginning of December, members of the group were also trained in the topics of peace and confidence building. Despite the online format, the training was interactive - participants shared their experiences and learned a lot of news.

Members of Kutaisi Women Initiative Group actively participated in the online meeting. Before starting the research, they received consulted and identified the target beneficiaries. Specific performers were distributed and research deadlines were set. The survey includes 150 people.
A youth group meeting was also held online. The members of the group talked about the events initiated within the framework of the 16-day international campaign. They condemn violence and according to them, active information work helps to raise awareness.
