Ordinary meeting of Kutaisi VWC was held. Moderator of the club familiarized the women with recommendations, which were submitted to Kutaisi GACs and local government and are already envisaged, mainly: appointment of the advisor in gender issues, in the budget of next year there are drafted costs for TV shows, trainings, development of gender directions in sport and culture.

In December in all 6 youth clubs (Kutaisi, Tskaltubo, Khoni, Poti, Senaki, koki) informational meetings began with conversation about campaign of 16 active days. In the second part of the meeting there was held a discussion of the main issue – advocacy of the gender policy and its importance in the issues of violence prevention. Discussion of advocacy strategy for young people was interesting. They put questions, spoke about their problems and what would they change around them. Activity of the youth in the discussions showed activity of the issue.

On December 9, in frames of the campaign of 16 active days, there was held a discussion of Ozurgeti Club of Voter Women. The members of the club were given the symbols of the campaign – white ribbons, calendars, informational sheets.

They mentioned that during many years, they are actively involved in the activities of the fund “Sukhumi”, participate in the actions, in different activities and protested all forms of violence.

Members of the youth clubs of the fund “Sukhumi” conducted informational meetings and actions in the cities and villages of Western Georgia.

Boys and girls spoke with the people of different ages about meaning of 16-day campaign. They spread informational sheets with declaration “Let’s join against violation towards the women”.
