Meetings - in this category there is an information about meetings in frames of Fund “Sukhumi” projects - meetings with beneficiaries, representatives of state structures, local and international non-governmental organizations.
With the participation of Imereti Scientists' Union “Spectri”, the group implementing the project in Lanchkhuti municipality (Georgian Rural Hall and Lanchkhuti Information Center) met with the members of the local working group. A workshop was held on the topic: "Mechanism for developing an effective strategic plan to improve public administration in Lanchkhuti municipality." The following issues were discussed: the essence and methods of strategic planning, conditions for the development of an effective strategic plan, definition of tasks and SWOT analysis.
The working group (representatives of local self-government and civil society) was actively involved in the working process. The participants developed and presented a strategic vision and identified strategic priorities.

Terjola civil society organization "Women for the Future of Georgia" is implementing the project "The Way to Changes". The project participants met with the head of the City Hall Health and Social Service, studied public information and documents on social programs, created a database of beneficiaries, developed a questionnaire and planned a research.
The project belongs to the field of social protection and health care, and is designed to improve the welfare of the beneficiaries. This work is part of the partnership project “A common forum for CSOs from Guria, Imereti and Racha-Lechkhumi for PAR Roadmap monitoring”, which is being implemented by three organizations: Fund “Sukhumi”, Fund of Women Entrepreneurs and Imereti Scientists Union “Spektri".

Civil society organization "Support - 2020" in Vani is implementing a project "Informing the population about the importance of participation in the process of implementing public administration reform at the local level." According to the project, an information meeting with citizens was held in the administrative unit of Shuamta. They received information about the main directions of public administration, about the importance of citizen inclusion, etc. The meeting participants expressed gratitude for the fact that communication with the government is becoming more active.
Within the framework of the project, a training was also held on the topic "Inclusion of citizens and the activation of volunteer activists in the process of introducing public administration reform." The training was attended by representatives of five target administrative units - a youth composition of volunteer activists.
The project work continues. The small project was prepared within the framework of the partnership project “A common forum for CSOs from Guria, Imereti and Racha-Lechkhumi for PAR Roadmap monitoring”, which is being implemented by three organizations: Fund Sukhumi, Fund of Women Entrepreneurs and Imereti Scientists’ Union "Spectri".
The ordinary meeting of the working group was held in Bagdati municipality. The group members were introduced to the advocacy plan and the draft of the action plan. The action plan of the working group reflects the recommendations identified as a result of monitoring and research. The meeting also discussed the points that have already been fulfilled as a result of advocacy. The members of the group discussed the steps with the help of which the plan will be submitted to Sakrebulo for approval.

“Civic Spectrum – Equality” is a civil society organization that implements the project “Informing citizens about the roadmap for public administration reform”. The organization started working with individual groups. Persons with disabilities and their family members were represented at the meeting. The forms of inclusion of citizens in public administration process were considered.

The second meeting of Vani Working Group discussed the draft of action plan, which reflects the recommendations identified as a result of the monitoring and needs research conducted in the municipality.
The group also discussed the developed advocacy plan and the steps that have already been taken to implement this plan.

A training on the topic “Identify the mechanisms of raising citizens’ involvement and improving the efficiency of local self-government e-services through the Public Administration Reform (PAR) document” was held by the NGO “Active citizen-accountable government”- partner organization of the “Fund of Women Entrepreneurs”. The aforementioned training was taken place in Tsagery Municipality within the project “Increasing the Competence of Tsageri Municipality Employees for Effective Public Administration Reform” supported by the sub grant.
Representatives, in total 29, of the executive and legislative bodies of the municipality attended the training.
The training aimed at improving the qualifications of local civil servants on public administration reform, that’s one of the preconditions to establish effective, transparent and inclusive governance.

The meeting of the working group was held in the Conference hall of Khoni Sakrebulo. An action plan was developed based on the recommendations identified as a result of monitoring and needs research.
The head of the working group, Alexander Akobidze, highlighted the problems. The members of the group considered the important issues for Khoni municipality, and talked about the ways of their solution. It was noted that the project promotes to close communication between Sakrebulo, City Hall and civil society, and the development of the municipality. This is what public workers and representatives of society saw.

The Ozurgeti organization - the Union of Young Teachers has been working since June in the framework of the project "What is public administration". A training course was held on "What is public administration". The course consists of several meetings and its purpose is to inform young people and raise their awareness. The project includes 25 young people. The training discussed topical issues: historical aspects of state formation, public eligibility, the governance process, constitutional rights, policy planning, priorities at the municipal level, etc.

Imereti Scientists’ Union "Spectri" held a press conference regarding the needs research in target municipalities within the framework of the project “A common forum for CSOs from Guria, Imereti and Racha-Lechkhumi for PAR Roadmap monitoring”.
Representatives of electronic and printed media from Imereti, Guria and Racha-Lechkhumi regions took part in the press conference.
