The Women's Fund "Sukhumi" presents a monitoring brief titled - "Extent of Women’s Awareness of Support Services for Survivors of Domestic Violence." This brief analyzes the level of women's awareness of existing support services in the country, the sources of their information, and the challenges that significantly affect the accessibility of these services.
The document is based on qualitative and quantitative research conducted by the Women's Fund "Sukhumi" between May and October 2024, covering over 600 respondents from 11 target municipalities: Chokhatauri, Kobuleti, Tskaltubo, Kutaisi, Khoni, Terjola, Samtredia, Senaki, Zugdidi, Tsalenjikha, Khobi.
The November training course began with the usual activity. Trainings have already been held in five youth empowerment centers (Tskaltubo, Vani, Chokhatauri, Zugdidi, Samtredia). On November 25, the international campaign "16 active days against gender-based violence" will start, within the framework of which young people will participate with interesting initiatives. The training course continues in five more municipalities, as planned, without changes.

The expert group of the Women Fund “Sukhumi” completed field work of the research of gender impact assessment component of the preschool education quality standard - family and community participation.
The research included 12 focus discussions and 28 personal interviews. Several documents were studied and additional surveys were conducted with industry experts.
Based on the survey results, a final report will be developed that will reflect the main findings highlighting the impact of the work of mentioned standard on students, parents, community, and preschool institutions.
The document developed as a result of the research will help to overcome the challenges of family and community participation in preschool education programs and will improve the quality of cooperation between preschool institutions, family, and community.

On 21 Zakariadze Street in Kutaisi, there is a building of a former kindergarten where internally displaced persons live. A useful civil initiative envisaged by the project was implemented in this settlement.
A safe environment for residents was created - dangerous old gates were dismantled and secondary, but relatively new gates were installed. The entrance road, which was difficult for residents to move around during the rain, was repaired. The entrance door to the house was also repaired and the walls were painted.

Women who participated in the project bought 1 exercise machine, 2 benches and a petrol mower for IDPs living in apartments of the former tea factory in the Ingiri community (Zugdidi municipality).
According to residents, there was no such precedent in the village and they express their deep gratitude for the support of their initiative. This equipment can be used by people of any age, and this will contribute to the introduction of a healthy lifestyle in the community.

In order to solve the problems of the IDP community in Senaki, within the framework of supporting the "Civil Initiatives", six water pumps were given to residents. The pumps will serve 12 buildings, facilitate the process of pumping water from basements and reduce the risks affecting the safety and health of people.
The second initiative was supported in response to the urgent problem of the threat posed by weeds. Within the framework of the project, five electric mowers were given to the population, designed for 12 residential houses.
Leaders of women's groups, activists and residents of the community actively joined in the process of implementing civil initiatives.

The online workshop, titled "Tactics, Characteristics, and Detection Techniques of Gender Disinformation," was led by Linda Chikhladze, a digital communications specialist, and involved members of the Youth Club from the Kutaisi and Tskaltubo municipalities of the Women's Fund "Sukhumi".

On November 9, an evaluation workshop was held at the office of the Fund “Sukhumi”. Women initiative groups of Kutaisi, Tskaltubo, Khoni, Senak, Zugdidi and Tsalenjikha evaluated the results of four years of work. What was the impact of the project activities on society and the country, what changed in their community - individual groups worked in this direction. Four years of work had positive results, which the members of the group received in different directions. The contours of the future project were outlined in their proposals. It first of all, involves the strengthening of work in the direction of peace. During the evaluation, the participants expressed positive opinions. "Four years is a long time to change! We feel this change, we have also affected the environment and therefore I think this project has done a good job. "Informing, activating the peace community, advocacy - we were all equally involved in all these processes." "We became stronger and were able to strengthen others. We activated topics that were not discussed before. "- these are short assessments of those involved in the project.
