In frames of 16 day campaign against violence towards the women in Kutaisi WSC, there was held a meeting with women-probationers. The lawyer familiarized them with the law against domestic violence and main amendments. Psychologist spoke about stresses and traumas of women addressing her. Warm atmosphere gave them opportunity to speak about their problems. They received recommendations, brochures with advices, leaflets, calendar.

After information and consultation meetings with the lawyer of Ozurgeti Gender Advisory Council, several problems are already solved such as: rehabilitation work on Chanchibadze and Nikoladze streets were finished the roads were covered with asphalt.
At this time, a lawyer met the villagers of Gagma Dvabzu - Ozurgeti municipality. At the meeting it was noted that the road to the village is amortized. It is necessary to make a barrier on the way to school, so that drivers reduced speed in this area.
The participants also received individual consultations on issues of civil, social and administrative law.

Number of participants: 10 women from 22 to 60 years old.
Attended for the first time: 7 women
Topic of the conversation: aggression, its forms, typed and reasons.
Topics of the conversation with the lawyer: amendments to the law against domestic violence.
 
The issues were connected with each other. Aggression – way to domestic violence and the law, which was adopted in 2006, but there are still changes and amendments, as it is not a strong mechanism against violence.
The participants mentioned, that today our society is aggressive, that cruelty, anger, arrogance, jealousy, evil, cry - are symptoms of our communication. What can be changed? How? What women can do for this? - This is what was discussed at the meeting of the psychologist and lawyer in Senaki Women's Support Centre.
Women received not only new information but also practical advice and answers to questions that interest them.

On March 9, there was held a meeting of the lawyer with the IDPs, residing in Kutaisi, collective center of musical school.

During the meeting there was given group consultation regarding the general problem, which envisages legalization of housing apartments.

Citizens were also given individual consultations on the rules of use of health insurance procedures.

The lawyer of the fund “Sukhumi” met compactly resided IDPs on May 7. They were given information about activities of the fund “Sukhumi” and Senaki Gender Advisory Council. The main issue of the meeting was declaration of the Ministry of Labor, Health and Social care No 141/N regarding the procedures and rules of evaluation of socially unprotected families’ socio-economical condition.
During the meeting different problems were revealed. The lawyer familiarized the members of IDP families, phases and procedures of the basis of socially unprotected people. The statement was prepared for solution of living problems of one family.

On June 8, the lawyer of the fund Fund "Sukhumi" met IDPs living in Senaki, in the collective center of the former professional college, and to familiarized them with the activities of the Fund and the Gender Advisory Council. As their problem is settlement, at the request of the audience, they have received information on this issue - about the law on IDPs from the lawyer.
After the meeting, participants learned about the application and a program of purchasing houses in the village. Also there were given individual consultations on the Criteria of socially disadvantaged persons, usually scoring, restoring the status of IDPs, the need to restore a document of war veteran and its procedures...

Informational meeting of the lawyer of Fund “Sukhumi” was held with representatives of ethnical minorities, who work in Kutaisi in Ukrainian kitchen – “Khutorok”.
They received information about a work of the fund “Sukhumi” and gender advisory council. They had different legal questions and received relevant consultations. There also were the problems of water supply and inner roads.

The lawyer held a meeting with residents of the village Kviriketi of Ozurgeti Municipality. The visit was caused by the fact that again, the work is continued in direction of the unloading construction materials from the river Bzhuzhi. The population has two requirements: to return to the river in its course and stop the work.

Together with the population there was planned an action, which attended by the deputy of governor, representative of village Shemokmedi, in the village. Representatives of Governot in the village Shemokmedi - Ozurgeti municipality. The local authorities have noted that they will solve the first problem raised by population. As for the second problem, at this stage they do not promise that the work will be terminated.

On March 17, the lawyer of the fund “Sukhumi” met the population of Senaki, residing on Poti Street. The meeting was participated by 12 citizens (IDPs among them).
They gained information on: “participation of the citizens in implementation of local self-government, publicity of the municipal bodies, discussion and approval of the project of Municipal budget”.
Main problem of the IDPs is resettlement. For 23 years they live with the relatives, but the owner demands leaving the house. The iDPs did not know whom to address. The lawyer explained them about application form, about rating score and other issues.

Informational visit of the lawyer was held in the family of one of the residents of Sakhokia Street (Ozurgeti).
The meetings gave consultations in civil, administrative, social and labor law.
Problems raised by the lawyer are already solved. These problems were announced to the City Hall. On Tsutsunava Street outside lighting was made and the road renovated.
