Women Support Centers (530)
Women Support Center these are the branches of the Fund “Sukhumi” in Kutaisi, Tskaltubo, Khoni, Terjola, Senaki, Poti, Khurcha / Koki (Zugdidi Municipality), Lanchkhuti, Ozurgeti, created since 2009. The centers are designed to strengthen women, provide social, psychological, legal assistance to women - victims of violence and to crisis families in a difficult life situation. They promote to the protection of women's rights and ensure their socio-psychological rehabilitation.
On June 10 in Kutaisi, on Kharebava street informational - consultative meeting was held of the lawyer with IDPs.
10 participants got acquainted with the various information related to the problems of legal regulation. They settled in this settlement 10 years ago, but it was mentioned that the building was damaged and not suitable for housing.
the ceiling on the last floor is damaged, and living under it becomes dangerous day by day. Residents also have the problem of drainage, cellar and roads.
The lawyer spoke with the IDPs about the programs on the basis of the local budget and how and to whom they may apply. The participants noted that they will make statement and will start advocacy issues.

On June 8, the lawyer of the fund Fund "Sukhumi" met IDPs living in Senaki, in the collective center of the former professional college, and to familiarized them with the activities of the Fund and the Gender Advisory Council. As their problem is settlement, at the request of the audience, they have received information on this issue - about the law on IDPs from the lawyer.
After the meeting, participants learned about the application and a program of purchasing houses in the village. Also there were given individual consultations on the Criteria of socially disadvantaged persons, usually scoring, restoring the status of IDPs, the need to restore a document of war veteran and its procedures...

The lawyer of Ozurgeti GAC, conducted meeting in the village Kviriketi of Ozurgeti Municipality. Problem of population – roads, which were damaged during the process of gasification and which still needs solution.
There is also a problem of water supply. More than 80 % of residents have wells, but in hot summer they are drying.
Two residents of the settlement were given legal consultations. The lawyer prepared court appeals regarding the spheres pf social and domestic law.

In May Lawyer of the fund “Sukhumi” conducted 7 informational meetings in IDP settlements. The meetings were attended by 51 citizens. Their main problems are: unemployment, economical crisis, resettlement, providing living spaces, gasification, legalization of spaces, issues of health and social care.
According the interests of meeting participants, the lawyer gave them information regarding different legal issues. Individual consultations were made regarding violence victims and the rights of their children.
The lawyer also prepared statement for one socially unprotected woman, with the request of health examination and funding of medicines.

7 informational – consultative group psychological meetings were held in Kutaisi, in IDP collective centers. The meeting was attended by 51 women at age of 20-68.
The main topic was “Models of family communications”. They learned main principles of correct listening:
- Don’t interrupt
- Avoid annoying things – put the book aside and turn off TV
- Create visual contact
- Answer verbally and nonverbally. Show that you are listening actively and attentively.

The informational meeting of the lawyer in Kutaisi cooperation collective center was attended by IDPs from Abkhazia. Main issue of the meeting was informing them regarding different legal issues, identification of their problems and the ways of solution.
Main problems of collective centers: road to the settlement is not organized, there are no amusement places for the children. It was decided to prepare joint statement on the name of local structures.
Also individual consultations were made to large family regarding programs for them.

Traditionally, legal consultations and informational meetings were held in Women's Support Centres of Kutaisi, Senaki, Khoni, Tskhaltubo, Poti and Khurcha (Zugdidi Municipality). The meetings focused on different topics: what is the judicial system, how a citizen can defend himself, credit, loan commitments, the law on domestic violence, divorce, alimony appointment procedure ...
As a result of detailed consultation with the help of lawyers, concrete participants gathered documents for divorce, obtaining alimony. They prepared tenancy agreement, letter of credit restructuring, etc.
According to the participants, such meetings contribute to enhance their legal awareness.

On May 1,7,11 psychological consultations were held in WSCs of Tskaltubo, Poti, Khoni. Number of beneficiaries was 21 people.
The topic of meeting in Tskaltubo and Khoni was personal and social responsibility. On the background of women activity psychological aspects of responsibility was analysed.
In WSC of Poti two individual meetings were held regarding concrete problems and future visits were planned.

In Women Support Center of Kutaisi, Senaki and Khurcha (Zugdidi Municipality) group consultations of psychologist were conducted.
The meeting was attended by 40 women from 16 to 64 years.
The meetings were devoted to the theme "Models of family communication (by Virginia Satir, the founder of the concept of family therapy).
Participants worked on the test, "Do we know how to listen."
The meetings were productive, evidenced by the feedback of women:
- Thank you so much for such work. This is an important, necessary and useful information about relationship.
- It is a pity that this it is taught nowhere.
-The Most important thing is to learn much about yourself, especially as I do not know how to listen. It's all over, from here there are conflicts with my loved ones ...
- Done tests inspired me to changes.

The lawyer of the fund “Sukhumi” met compactly resided IDPs on May 7. They were given information about activities of the fund “Sukhumi” and Senaki Gender Advisory Council. The main issue of the meeting was declaration of the Ministry of Labor, Health and Social care No 141/N regarding the procedures and rules of evaluation of socially unprotected families’ socio-economical condition.
During the meeting different problems were revealed. The lawyer familiarized the members of IDP families, phases and procedures of the basis of socially unprotected people. The statement was prepared for solution of living problems of one family.
