Meetings - in this category there is an information about meetings in frames of Fund “Sukhumi” projects - meetings with beneficiaries, representatives of state structures, local and international non-governmental organizations.
In the WSC of Poti there was held a presentation of the publication of the fund “Sukhumi” – “Evaluation of Women Human Security Level in Western Georgia”.
The meeting was attended by the representatives of local self-government, women activists.
After presentation there was a discussion. Participants mainly made stressed on social issues, as they consider that, there are serious problems in this sphere. Representatives of local self-government spoke about the programs, which are implemented from the local budget. The participants got interested by the benefits regarding mothers of many children.
By the common opinion of participants, discussion of similar issues together with representatives of local government will raise level of collaboration and will promote to solution of the problem.
In the conference hall of Khoni Municipality there was held a presentation of publication of the fund “Sukhumi” – “Evaluation of Women Human Security Level in Western Georgia”.
After familiarizing with the results of the research, participants – representatives of different structures heard recommendations, elaborated in different cities. The stress was made on suggestions of Khoni group.
During the discussion the conversation touched components of safe life of society. By the opinion of participants, raising of women security level should start by consolidation of society and it is necessary that responsibility should be taken by the structures, which can have an impact on positive changes.
Large format 23-rd meeting of GAC was held in Senaki. The first part was devoted to the presentation of the research of the fund “Sukhumi” “Evaluation of women human security level in Western Georgia”. Together with the council members, the meeting was attended by the chairperson of Sakrebulo and his deputy, representatives of social service and health care, teachers and directors of schools and kindergartens. There was held an active discussion of security issues, revealed in the process of research in the context of Senaki Municipality.
The second part of the research was participated by the GAC members, who detail discussed a new project, directed to the work in 14 territorial units of the municipality regarding the issues of gender and gender violence attracting representatives of Gamgeoba, majoritarian candidates, teachers, school directors and active youth. The GAC members have a hope of support from the side of local self-government and fund “Sukhumi” in realization of the project.

Ozurgeti Gender Advisory Council received an offer from the side of Province of Guria, to contribute to the creation of GACs in Guria region on a whole, as many good things were done for Ozurgeti population by joint work of the GAC and self-government.
February meeting of the GAC was attended by the women deputies of Lanchkhuti and Chokhatauri municipalities.
The meeting discussed the principles of the GAC work, is was scheduled to meet in these municipalities for the official formation of the GAC. Women members of Sakrebulo of Lanchkhuti and Chokhatauri municipalitiues with greater motivation received the innovation, which the GAC is going to implement in their municipalities.

Mobilizres of WSCs met the representatives of local self-government in Sakrebulo, Gamgeoba and City Hall.
During the meeting representatives of local self-government learned about free services of the fund “Sukhumi” and the mobilizers got acquainted with the programs, existing on the places and innovations in the social plan.
Afterwards these information are spread on mobilization and informational – consultative meetings, in order to give the women and their families possibility to these programs in case of need.
Mobilizers ofteh WSCs of the fund “Sukhumi” conducted 33 mobilization meetings in collective centers of IDPs in the villages. Topic of the meetings – ways of advocacy.
During the meetings participants received also information about international day of fighting against cancer (celebrated on February 4) and freetreatment in frames of scrining program – what treatments can the citizens of georgia receive and why it is important to use these programs.
February 17 was a meeting of the Gender Advisory Council of Kutaisi, which was attended by members of the Club of Women-Voters. They have focused on the problems that have repeatedly been put to the clubs.
For the purpose of advocating these issues the GAC invited Malkhaz Basiladze - head of the commission for Infrastructure, Transport and cleaning. He spoke about the programs that provides Kutaisi local budget. Advocacy plan was scheduled, and members of the GAC will be involved in this process.
The second issue on the agenda was evaluation of the results of the network meeting organized by Fund "Sukhumi" on the part of MP. They noted that at the meeting they received information that implies responsibility and active work of the local self-government against violence.
On February 17 Tbilisi hosted a presentation of the research of the fund "Sukhumi" - "Strengthening women's voices in the process of conflict transformation", which was attended by representatives of different social groups, the media, government agencies, the diplomatic corps.
The forum participants received detailed information on the brochure "Women's participation in the Geneva talks: problems, achievements and prospects", issued as a result of the study, also they watched a film on the same topic.
The meeting put forward the issues that concern residents of conflict zones – their solution is important with women's participation in constructive negotiations and agreements, taking into account their vision.
There was a discussion on the inclusion of more women in the process of peaceful settlement of conflicts. There was fixed a need for a more flexible format with the inclusion of representatives of society and the NGOs - those people who are in direct contact with the problem.
On February 15 a meeting was held in one of Kutaisi collective centers, where the participants were given information regarding a law on IDPs. The meeting summarized all problems, related to IDPs. For solution of the problems of one woman, who is sick and cannot move independently, a statement was prepared and sent to the Ministry of refugees and accommodation.
